I'm so sorry for not blogging in a while. We moved into our new house in July after an extensive remodel, traveled to Florida in October for a friend's birthday, hosted family in town for Thanksgiving and Christmas and haven't had a moment to sit down and post in 2014.

Kids are all doing great! Everyone is talking up a storm (lot's of "no's" i'm afraid to say). They have very distinct personalities. Campbell is still the 'leader' as the other two defer to her much of the time (although they do like to say that she is 'bossy' ha). Piper is the comedian....loves to laugh and make everyone else laugh along with her (even when she isn't really being funny). Travis is very sensitive and the odd-man-out as the girls are the best of friends and often ignore him. Luckily, he has met a friend in our new neighborhood so the girls don't outnumber the boys.

They are taking gymnastics, swimming and music classes and enjoy them all. They start preschool in the fall and we were extremely lucky that all three have been accepted into an excellent preschool here in LA. The process of getting them into a good preschool here was the nightmare that we had heard about (400 applicants for 15 spots etc.) We are relieved that process is over and are very happy with our school.

Once the kids are in school, we hope there will be more time for blogging...
With (almost) two year olds running around in every different direction, we barely have time to turn around much less to blog. That said, many of you have asked for recent pictures of the kids, so that is the least we could do.

Campbell, Piper and Travis are growing like crazy, talking up a storm and making our lives complete every single day. Thank you for your continued interest in them (and us) and enjoy the photos....
Wanted to give everyone a quick update. (sorry that we haven't posted in a long while). We finally recovered from our Christmas/New Years trip (see post below) and are well into spring. Kids are doing great....babbling and (kindof) talking up a storm. They are 18 months now and, according to the pediatrician, have 'caught up' in every way to full term babies so we no longer have to distinguish between their 'actual age' and their 'adjusted age'. Here is a recent (Easter) photo

Campbell, Travis, Piper at Easter.

They have pretty much maintained their original personalities:

Campbell is definitely the leader. She is first to do almost everything. She is wickedly smart and frequently uses her sign language to let us know what she wants. She loves books and will often go off on her own and sit and 'read' her favorite books (which means rapidly turn the pages). She is demanding and knows what she wants and how to get it (usually by smiling at either Dad or Daddy).

Piper is very sweet and happy. She is still the smallest and defers to the other two in times of conflict. When either of the others are sad/crying, Piper always goes over to pat them to make it better. That said, she can be pushed to her limit and when she does,Watch Out! She loves to dance and will do so anytime, anywhere and in front of anyone (which makes for some interesting looks in public!)

Travis loves cars/trucks and airplanes or anything with a wheel! He is the most attached to our two dogs and loves seeing them first thing in the morning. He and the girls get along really well but he likes to play rough with them sometimes and they don't like it. He is still our most sensitive child so when the girls let him know he is playing too rough, his feelings get hurt (which is very sweet).

They are very active, happy kids taking swimming lessons, music lessons and going to the gym twice a week (wish their dads had time to do that!). No summer vacation plans with them just yet (see post below as to why). Will try and blog a little more. In the meantime, here are a few more random photos:

Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years and that 2013 is a great year for you all.

We took our first real family vacation since the kids were born to Zihuatanejo Mexico. We stayed in a beautiful private home on the cliffs of the Zihuatanejo Bay and the Pacific Ocean and had a fantastic time. The kids took their first plane ride (and maybe last when you read the story below). Don't know what we were thinking in taking the kids that far away for so long (14 days), but we made it through and have some great stories to tell for years to come.

Having traveled a fair amount as a couple, we quickly realized that there are so many things we had taken for granted when flying with kids. Like going through the airport security line for instance. OMG. We had only carried two diaper bags, one carry-on and a car seat between us so we thought it would be easy/breazy.....we were WRONG. Scene: Take off my shoes and put all my items (tickets, boarding passes and passports for 5 people) in the bin, send everything through the baggage scanner. Pick up baby #1 and carry him through the people scanner. Ask the TSA agent to send the stroller though the people scanner while you wait for it on the other end only to find out that they need the stroller to go through the baggage scanner. Wait for the stroller to come through the baggage scanner so I can strap baby #1 (now screaming) in the stroller. Put on my shoes while I wait for baby #2 to be passed through the people scanner only to realize that I had no where to put her as I had sent through the single stroller rather than the double stroller first. Oh where to put the second baby while I wait for the double stroller to come through the scanner? Now two babies are screaming and we are holding up the line! Stress level going up! The double stroller comes through the baggage scanner along with the first of the diaper bags. We had forgotten to separate all the baby liquids from the diaper bag so the TSA agent requested they do a manual search of the diaper bag. Stress level going up. Fine. However, they needed one of us to be there for the search. I now have two babies, one in a stroller and one in my arms (both screaming) and the third is on the other side waiting to go through the people scanner and we are STILL holding up the line!! Stress level going up! You would think that on the Saturday before Christmas people would be in a Holiday mood..but no such luck). Stress Level WAY WAY up! Put baby #2 in the double stroller and follow the TSA agent for the manual scan. Meanwhile, Jim comes through the people scanner with baby #3 and the thing goes off! Remove items from pocket and re enter the scanner. You would think all is good? Nope. Although manual inspection of the (first) diaper bag is complete, two kids are still screaming, still holding up the line as the second diaper bag comes through the scanner and, you guessed it, we had forgotten to remove all liquids! UGH. Stress Level at an all time high! After what seemed like 10 minutes, diaper bag two manual inspection is complete and we are off! OMG.....what just happened?

Going down to Mexico was relatively easy given that my mom and her husband flew to
LA to take the same flight down with us and GOD BLESS THEM for doing
that! We had purchased a seat for one of the babies and had registered the two others as lap infants. Having my mom next to me to hold one of the kids was a life saver as I don't know what we would have done without her (and I secretly worried the entire vacation as to how Jim and I were going to handle the 3 kids ALONE on the way home!...but that story pales in comparison to what happened next).

Landed in Mexico almost 3 hours after take off and we breathed a sigh of relief. Waited for customs for over an hour as three planes landed at the same time. Kids were hungry, we were hot, sweaty and hungry and ready to get the vacation started. Finally reach customs and were moved through relatively easily. Had the kids passports (and birth certificates showing us both as parents just in case) and we were put through with no issue at all. Once through customs, you had to collect all your baggage, run it through ANOTHER scanner before meeting the last of the customs agents to determine if they are gong to search your bags before exiting the terminal. Since we had checked all our bags at the ticket counter in LA, we hadn't thought about logistics once landing in Mexico. UGH My mom, her husband, Jim and myself had each checked at least one bag, we had three pack-n-plays, three car seats, two additional bags for the kids....in total we had 12 items to put through the scanner. UGH.

At this point, everyone is scrambling to get all their bags and get through the scanner as quickly as possible. We didn't want to hold up the line this time. So, we all kicked into high gear and got all our bags through the scanner in record time. Once through, the agent saw how many bags (and people and babies) were traveling together and waived us through! Good right? NO.

I was the first to get through the security doors. Once through those double doors you see all those drivers holding up name plates, people asking to carry your bags for $, relatives waiting for their loved ones...you get the drill. It was insane. It took me a few minutes but I found our driver. I gave him my bags and asked him to go get both cars (we couldn't fit into one!) and bring them to the curb. Jim comes through next with the single stroller and a couple of bags. My mom comes through next with a couple of bags. Everyone is headed to the curb to meet the cars. I walk back into the security area and grab more bags and take them to the curb. I ask Jim if he has all three kids and all I hear is "Yes". I have now walked back into the security area again to get more bags not knowing that it was against the Mexican Law (!) to walk back into the security area after being cleared!! Who knew? Besides, my vacation is getting ready to start! Woo Hoo! Well, as I collected the last of the bags to take to the car, the agents were notifying security of what I was doing. I get to the curb with the last of the bags and realize that, although I had asked Jim if he had all three KIDS, he thought I had asked him if he had all three CAR SEATS.... to which he had replied YES! OMG We were missing the girls!!! We had left them in their stroller inside the security area in customs!!! I immediately RAN back into the building and up to the security doors to go get them. Now, unbeknownst to me, agents were waiting on me as I had already broken their law TWICE. They ran after me and pulled me aside (I swear they were ready to draw guns! ha) and told me I couldn't go any further. I am now in FULL PANIC mode! I don't speak Spanish but tried to tell them that my daughters were behind the doors and that I NEEDED to get them! (although I have been to Zih several times and it's VERY VERY safe, at this point all I am thinking about is all my friends saying it was a bad idea to go to Mexico with all the kidnapping going on down there!). After what seemed like an hour, the doors opened up and I recognized a familiar face from the plane! She could see the look on my face and knew immediately what was wrong. She said that she had seen my girls and she said they were beside the scanner (crying) but that her husband was waiting there for us! Thank GOD! Just then I could see my mom's husband coming through the doors with his bags. I asked him to grab the girls as the security agents were not going to let me go back in! He turned around, walked behind the scanner (and thousands of people) and, after what seemed like a lifetime, wheeled my girls out of the security area. Of course they were screaming...but that was THE BEST sound in the world!!! OMG WHAT have we gotten ourselves into is all I was thinking?????

The rest of the trip was fantastic unless you count the trip home where Jim had a 102 fever, Travis was sick and Campbell didn't do well with the takeoff and landings (she had two MAJOR meltdowns during flight) and Piper had to stay in her car seat the entire time and she wasn't happy. Luckily, we had very understanding people around us who pitched in when we needed it. Thank you to those of you who were there as you know how hard that was for us...we sincerely appreciated all your efforts!

2013 New Years Resolution????
NEVER travel with Triplets without a two-on-one coverage!
Happy New Year to you all!!!
Sorry for the lack of updates but we have entered a new phase in Tripletville......the girls are walking!
In other news, Travis is out of his helmet having 'graduated' with a perfect little round noggin....we couldn't me more proud. ha.

Until next time....a Few recent photos/videos:
Just a quick update on our household:

Piper was the first to start crawling (about a month ago) and is now pulling herself up and standing every chance she gets. Initially, she fell about 90% of the time and luckily we were there to catch her (save for a few minor head bruises). Now, she knows how to pull herself up and get herself back down. When held by her hands, she is putting one foot in front of the other and is making great strides. She will be walking (God help us) before her first birthday which is no small feat since her adjusted age will only be 10 months at that time....Go Piper!
Campbell started crawling last week. She had been tempting us that she was ready for a while by getting up on her hands and knees, tongue out and a fierce look in her eye that she was going to do it...and then would sit back down in frustration (for her and for us!). We always had our video phones ready to capture the first crawling moment....to no avail....again and again.....until this past week and here is the result of her very first crawl...
Travis is a little behind his sisters in the crawling department (as all boys are we are told). He loves to stand and jump but, until recently, didn't have any desire to actually crawl. However, as he sees the girls crawling and moving, he has an new found desire to be mobile. He is rapidly closing the gap and will be crawling shortly. He is our best eater (no surprise) and our best sleeper (lazy boy) and is always happy. He is the only one still wearing his Doc Band but should have that off before his birthday next month. Here is a picture at his last Doc Band appointment...I think his little noggin looks great!

All kids have been cutting teeth the past couple months but, truthfully, they didn't really fuss about it...so we consider ourselves lucky. Piper and Travis currently have four top teeth coming in so we shall see if their chill attitude continues. All are babbling and cooing and jabbering up a storm so there are lots of funny noises made by them each day as they discover their voices.

Seems I always start off my posts with apologies these days as I rarely get the chance to post. So many things are going on in our world, that it's just hard to find the time. All parents (especially parents of newborns) understand this but I feel like apologizing nonetheless as I feel bad that I want to keep everyone updated on our journey.
Kids are doing great. Piper and Campbell will be getting out of their doc bands (see earlier post) this weekend and Travis will have his on for another few weeks. They have really responded well to the treatment and they haven't seemed to mind wearing them at all.

Piper is crawling! OMG Our lives will NEVER be the same! Although having three kids is no picnic, at least they haven't been mobile! Now, we put Piper down and by the time we turn around, she is on the move (mainly in circles but we know it's only a matter of a few days where she will really get the hang of it and we are in real trouble then). Jim and I feel she is classic middle child in that she doesn't require as much attention as the older or younger of the triplets. (She is also the child that steals toys when no one else is looking and hopes that the older or younger one get's blamed! ha) The doctors told us to wait until now to determine eye color. Piper has darker brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes just like our donor. She also has
THE most infectious giggle (usually with a tongue hanging out).

Campbell is right behind Piper in the crawling. She is still the baby that gives us the most. The most smiles, the most giggles and the most attention but she is also the one that gives us the most sleepless nights. She sleeps very well for about an hour at any given time and then needs to know that we are near. Sometimes it just takes a gentle touch to remind her that we are there for her and she goes back to sleep. Other times, she needs our FULL attention and nothing less will do (thus the sleepless night on occasion). She has light blond hair and bright blue eyes that will melt your heart.

Travis, our blond hair brown eyed boy is our sweet gentile soul. He takes having two (very) active sisters in stride and only really fusses when he is on his Tummy or when he is hungry. Otherwise, he is still the most chill of the three. The girls like to spend time in their cribs together...but they don't like it when we put him in there with them. He is a big boy and, as boys do, he likes to kick and push and play hard....and the girls just don't want anything to do with that....so, he often plays by himself in his own crib. (Jim keeps suggesting that we have another boy to keep Travis company but that isn't EVER going to happen!!!)

All in all, we are a happy family with three beautiful, healthy, rapidly growing trio that a year ago were just a fantasy on an ultrasound screen. We thank Ashley, Momo and Cora for all they did for us last year and we thank our family and friends for sharing in this incredible journey with us. We look forward to many many more Father's Days to come. Hope yours was as fun as ours.
All is going great in our world. The kids are growing so fast, we can't believe the difference one week makes. They are eating solid food and starting to 'scoot' so we know that crawling is just a few weeks away and then we will really be in trouble.

At our last pediatrician appointment, the doctor noticed that Travis had a very slight form of Plagiocephaly (misshapen head). It is very common for multiples of 3 or more to have Plagiocephaly of varying degrees . One would assume this is due to the lack of space in the womb while the babies are growing resulting in a limited ability to perfect a symetrical round head. Plagiocephaly is also common for babies who spend a lengthy period of time in the NICU. Lastly, with the "Back to Sleep" program to avoid SIDS, babies are only put to sleep on their backs which can result in a 'flat head' which is a form of Plagiocephaly. Since our babies were both 'cramped' in the womb and had lengthy NICU stays, we knew that at least one of them would likely require treatment to correct the shape of their heads.

Treatment involves the baby being fitted for a 'Doc Band". Basically, the Doc Band is made of an outer hard plastic shell with a soft inner plastic liner. The hard shell keeps the round parts of the head round by keeping constant pressure on those areas while the soft inner liner allows the flatter parts of the head to expand where needed. You can learn more about Plagiocephaly and the Doc Band at http://www.cranialtech.com.

Although all three of our kids qualified for treatment, we were very lucky in that they all have very mild cases. In fact, to the naked eye, Piper doesn't seem to have any issues at all.

They wear the bands 23 hours a day for as long as it takes for the head shape to correct. Most kids this age wear the band for as little as a few weeks to a few months depending on the severity of the Plagiocephaly. Since our kids have very mild cases and, given their expected growth spurts from their recent graduation to solid foods, we don't expect them to have their bands longer than 4 weeks or so.

The good news is that they have adapted very well to their bands and don't seem to notice that they are wearing them (see pic of Campbell below).

Here is just a few pics of the kids with their bands (and their attempts at eating solid food!)
Some have asked me "Why do you want to put your kids through the 'humiliation' of wearing the bands?" or "Why would you take your kids out in public wearing the bands?. Won't some people stare?" My answer is this: During one of the many doctor office visits during our pregnancy, I noticed a very young child wearing one of these white bands. Initially, I thought there was something "wrong" with the baby. I thought perhaps he had suffered some sort of brain injury or head trauma. I felt so bad for his parents and for the baby. I found myself looking away and avoiding eye contact for fear I would have been accused of staring. I was ignorant, of course, as I later learned that these bands were (mostly) used to correct cosmetic features in these children. These parents, at the risk of people 'staring', were doing nothing more than giving their kids the best chance of being their true (physical) selves and isn't that the job of a parent anyway???

So, in the hopes of educating other people out there (after all, that is what this blog is partially about), we are putting our kids out there for the world to see. We think they are beautiful....Doc Bands and all! We hope in doing this people will learn what these bands are all about.

So if/when you see a child with a band on their head, don't be afraid of it. Educate your friends, family and children about it. If the child is old enough, let them know that they look 'cool' or 'pretty' in their band. It will make a world of difference in that child's life....
JR and Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14378626475555864438noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3067861512223005809.post-67460371459313388352012-05-17T15:06:00.001-07:002012-05-17T15:06:36.344-07:00Happy (Belated) Mothers Day!!

Sorry this post is late. We were traveling to Mississippi for a High School Reunion this weekend and didn't have a chance to post until now.
Given that our kids have two Dads, Mothers Day will have a 'special' or 'different' meaning for us than for most.
Although there isn't a 'mother' in the kids lives, they are lucky to have wonderful women in their lives not the least of which is their Grandma M.
Grandma M has been an Amazing support to us from the very beginning of our journey from sending us goodie baskets (see prior posts) with clothing and handmade burp cloths to all the beautiful handmade quilts for each of the kids. She is a constant source of support for us and our kids absolutely love her!
While we were away this weekend, we couldn't think of anyone better suited to stay with the kids than Grandma M. Although they have very busy lives themselves, we very much appreciated Grandma and her husband Blair's willingness to drop their plans and stay at our house to watch the kids while we took our first trip away from them.

So we celebrated GrandMothers Day this past Sunday and we hope that there are many more Mothers Days with Grandma M.

As you can see by the picture below, our kids love their Grandma!
We know....we know.....we are BAD bloggers!!!! so much to do, so little time....but we are loving EVERY minute of our life. The above photo was taken this morning right before breakfast....it's hard to be in a bad mood (or tired) when you wake up to these little faces every morning...

Quick Update:

The kids are eating solid food! Travis eats everything (and a lot of it). Piper likes most things (especially sweet potatoes) and Campbell either likes it or she doesn't and if she doesn't she will let you know it!

They have been sleeping through the night for a couple of months now so we are all happy in the morning (including the Dads!) Piper likes to roll over and sleep on her stomach every night while the other two are happy on their left side (Travis sucking his thumb and Campbell with a pacifier).

Piper is getting her two lower front teeth so, at the moment, she is drooling and gumming everything in sight (including her brother/sister's hands and feet!)

All else is good in our world...hope it is in yours.
They are growing like crazy. Travis is over 12 lbs now, Piper is over 11 and Campbell is bringing up the rear at just over 10 lbs. Health wise, they are doing great. Campbell hasn't had a reflux incident in over a month so she is off all medication and rapidly gaining weight...she will have caught up to her brother and sister by the next update.
They are all becoming much more 'social' and responding to our cues by grinning and smiling all the time. Campbell is still the most alert. She doesn't sleep much during the day as she really doesn't want to miss a thing going on around her. Piper is still the best sleeper and Travis is the best eater.
We are now on day 3 of all kids sleeping through (the majority of) the night. They get their last bottle at 11pm and we don't really hear from them until 5 or 6. It's been great for us (and the nanny) to get a good night's sleep. We will be eliminating the 11pm bottle in a few days and we hope that will be the end of our sleepless nights (ok, we can dream can't we?)
Bubbles came to visit us and the kids last weekend and we had a great time. The kids took right to her and we miss her already. Momo is coming to see us this sunday. We have missed our daily talks with her and can't wait to spend some time with her and the kids. Until the next update (I promise to be a better blogger), here are some recent photos:

Campbell is 22 inches long and weighs 9 lbs 12 oz. She is very alert and stays awake longer than the other two. She doesn't want to miss a thing! She smiles and coos more than the others but is also still suffering from acid reflux and now some sinus congestion. Other than those two issues, she is generally a very happy baby.

Piper is 22.5 inches long and weighs 10 lbs 11 oz. She is the best baby. She eats when we want her to, she burps without our help, she even poops when we want her to (during the day when the nanny is there. go piper! ha). She sleeps longer than the other two (up to 5 hours at a stretch) and is such a sweetheart. She has even broken the habit of needing the pacifier. We are so proud. ha

Travis is 23 inches long and weighs 11 lbs 2 oz. He is our biggest surprise. Given that he started out with eating issues (ie, didn't want to take a bottle), he has now surpassed his sisters and is eating like crazy! He can take 6 oz with no problem (and that's a lot for a baby his age/size). He is still very chill and looks around, taking it all in. The only time he cries is when he is hungry. Otherwise, he is very happy and an easy baby.

All three are holding their heads up and doing well during tummy time (even if they really don't like it). They are smiling and cooing and starting to really react when we speak to them....it's starting to get fun.

Preemies like ours (10 weeks early) are judged by two different markers: "Actual age" (September 23 - date they were born) and "Adjusted age" (December 1 - date they 'should have' been born). Based on this, we really didn't know what to expect at this appointment. Were our kids developing normally? Were they behind for their 'age'? We knew that they would be 'smaller' than full term babies but didn't really know about their other development. All we had been told is to expect it to take up to to 2 years for preemies to catch up (weight/height/motor skills/etc) to full term babies. That said, our pediatrician performed all the routine tests (hearing, eyes, muscle reflex etc). She said that C, P and T are (clearly) gaining weight (quickly) and their developmental skills are almost in line with full term babies. She expects them to be fully caught up by their 6 month checkup. So we couldn't be happier with the appointment.
Although we are a little late (ok a LOT late), we finally had the kids photographed for their birth announcement. I know, I know they were born in September but we weren't ready given their early birth, Travis' late discharge, the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, New Years and......blah blah blah, you get it.
Since they weren't due to be born until December, no one would have expected birth announcements until January anyway......so we are just keeping with that schedule, right?
Here is just a little taste. More photos to follow.
We hope everyone had a (more) relaxing holiday (than we did).
Three newborns with acid reflux does not make for a fun-filled or relaxing time but we made the best of it.

We took our first road trip with the kids to San Diego for Christmas with my dad, brother and his family. As we were packing the Mini-Van (Jim refuses to say the 'MV' word and instead refers to it as "the Honda"), I quickly realized that we would never fit everything inside that we needed to bring. I informed Jim to which he quips "lets just strap some of it to the roof". Are you @#$%^& kidding me?! He didn't really just say that? Isn't it enough that we are TWO men with THREE babies and TWO poodles (ok Labradoodles but you get it) driving a mini-van that is packed to the gills with every baby apparatus known to man for Christ's sake?! We seriously didn't need any more attention drawn to us by strapping things like luggage/strollers (the nanny) to the top of the van!
When finished, we had that van loaded up with luggage and strollers blocking the rear view mirror and two bouncy seat frames poking me in the face from the front passenger seat. Seriously, we looked like the Beverly Hillbillies. Instead of granny and ellie may in tow, I had Campbell strapped in behind me, Piper next to her and Travis and Jim in the 3rd row seat. Oh Lord help us! We were (at best) a Circus Act coming to town or (at worst) a bad Bravo reality show. I think more the latter as about 45 minutes into the 2 hour drive, Jim informs me that he needed to stop at a bathroom. Really?!! We just left! We were packed in like sardines! To let Jim out meant moving Piper, the two diaper bags, the pack-n-play and the two dogs! Besides, we were already late and pushing the babies into a late feeding so there was no way we had time to stop. Jim said "well, what do you want me to do?" [At 6:15, did he really want me to answer that?] So I told him that he needed to set an example for the kids i(n a jokingly paternal tone) that if they didn't take care of business before leaving the house, they would just have to wait..... haha. He was not amused....and neither was I when unpacking the van to discover a full "water" bottle had been left in the rear seat cup holder.....I guess he was setting an example for the kids...

Once we arrived at my brother's, everyone pitched in and we had a great time. My 12 year old niece was particularly amazing with the kids. She had just finished taking a class on babysitting and you could tell she knew her stuff. She will be a great babysitter and we intend to use her a lot....if I can afford her! ha

In other news, the kids are doing great. They are growing fast (all over 9 lbs) and eating 5 oz per bottle.
They are all now more alert between bottles and are very good at head/neck control.
Campbell is still the most alert and enjoys looking around (a lot) and is fussy when we want to put her down for a nap (oh are we going to have problems with her). She was the first to give us a "real" smile (this past Tuesday) and has been smiling every day since.
Travis was next to smile (or more like a grin) and he is the biggest eater (of course) with Piper not that far behind.
Piper is still the easiest baby so far. She eats when we want her to, she burps easily (sometimes on her own) and sleeps like a champ. All is good with Piper provided she has a pacifier when SHE wants it.....when you are tardy getting her to the pacifier party, she becomes a different child!

I am back at work full time and Jim will follow suit in 3 more weeks. Our Nanny is doing great and Grandma is keeping busy making us bibs, blankets and everything in between. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful support group!

I promise more pictures soon (we just had the birth announcement photos taken last friday and will post as soon as we get them)

In the meantime, here is a shot I took this morning before leaving for work (and a rare shot with Piper being the only one without a paci!)
